Elite Bahamian Education Program

Due to September 11, 2001, student visas are more difficult to obtain as well as finding schools that will provide students with the proper paperwork to attend secondary schools in the United States. With the new immigration laws, the only schools that allow this are private schools, hence the cost of the program just increased exponentially. Furthermore, when having a student in the United States, away from home, at a younger age requires much more attention. There are housing costs, food, clothing, transportation, tutoring,  and continued nurturing mental development to become mature adults. I have funded these students on my own for the last 15 years along with their parents.

I contribute to these students with no expectation of financial returns from the students and their families. My goal is only that once these student continue with their successes, they will one day will help develop, motivate and mentor other young Bahamians with their resources the way I have done for them. Also, I stress and show the opportunity for the students to give back to the Bahamas financially by investing in businesses and property. Furthermore, by giving my time and resources, I am giving back to the Bahamas what they gave to me, the support and appreciation of becoming the first to put the Bahamas on the map athletically, making a way for all Bahamians to believe in themselves.
